Tampa Martial Arts & Self-Defense
hosted it’s first seminar January 27, 2018. This seminar went over the most effective ways to deal with various knife attacks. Sifu Och, the chief instructor for Sifu Och Wing Chun (Lakeland, Florida) was the main guest and presenter.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
As with any self-defense technique, care must be given to teach the proper way to handle any situation that involves a close encounter with a weapon. The line between life and death is so thin. The only thing that can prevent a disaster is constant training UNDER PRESSURE. This means training against an opponent who knows how to wield a weapon and also against someone who is bigger than you are.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
We are planning on having more seminars in 2018. All will be presented by Sifu Och unless otherwise notified. We look forward to seeing you at these future events.

“…use Wing Chun as a martial arts vehicle of self-defense to do one of two things. The first being able to de-escalate a potential problem through calm means and the second, is to run through your opponent when your back is against the wall.” – Garret R. Brumfield
